Designed as an echo of the culture of the United Arab Emirates, this clock incorporates carefully selected symbolic elements :
A dial and escapement support engraved with Arabic-inspired motifs by the artisan engraver Cyril Chauvin , paying homage to the rich artistic traditions of the region.
Decorative elements in solid 18-carat yellow and white gold, enameled using the cloisonné technique by Sandrine Tessier, Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France ). They evoke both the movement of waves and the silhouette of artificial palm-shaped islands.
1,056 brilliant-cut diamonds of 0.02 carats each, 106 brilliant-cut diamonds of 0.01 carats each, and 2 marquise-cut diamonds of 0.07 carats each, set on the hands, for a total of 22.32 carats. Their setting, executed with exceptional care by Olivier Gangi , testifies to absolute precision.
11 cultured pearls highlight the hour markers, in homage to the history of the United Arab Emirates, once a land of pearl fishermen.
Blued hands, inspired by the wings of the falcon, pay homage to this national emblem of the United Arab Emirates, a symbol of strength and prestige.
A globe and a base in Val-Saint-Lambert crystal, where the diamond cut of the transparent crystal blends with a sculpture representing an intense blue wave, evoking the brilliance and fluidity of the turquoise waters surrounding Dubai's famous artificial palm-shaped islands.
